- DEPUTIES PURSUED A DARK CHEVY 1500 SOUTHBOUND ON HARDY FOR SEVERAL MILES BEFORE HE WRECKED UNDER THE INTERCHANGE
- ALL SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC ON HARDY RD FROM THE TOLL RD IS BLOCKED. TOLL ROAD AND N LOOP ARE UNAFFECTED AT THIS TIME
A HISPANIC ADULT MALE IS DEAD AFTER FLEEING FROM DEPUTIES DURING A ROUTINE TRAFFIC STOP. DEPUTIES ATTEMPTED TO EFFECT A TRAFFIC STOP FOR A MINOR TRAFFIC INFRACTION WHEN THE PURSUIT BEGAN. THE SUSPECT LED DEPUTIES ON A PURSUIT FOR APPROXIMATELY 6 MILES, WITH SPEEDS RANGING FROM 10 MPH TO 80 MPH. THE SUSPECT LOST CONTROL OF HIS VEHICLE SOUTHBOUND ON HARDY AT THE NORTH LOOP AND CRASHED.
