1. HPD officers responded to reports of a family disturbance
2. arriving officers located a male member of the family armed
3. 2 officers discharged their weapons during the exchange with the armed family member
4. unknown at this time if the armed male fired at officers
5. male was transported with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso
6. males condition is likely critical, but undetermined as of last update from scene
7. Duty chief and crime lab are en route to the scene along with investigators.
