Houston Police Officers Struck By Driver Who Ran Stop Sign

DETAILS:

1. HPD officers were in route to a shot-spotter call
2. officers had lights and sirens on when a vehicle ran a stop sign in front of them, causing a crash
3. both vehicles went off the roadway, striking a fire hydrant, and a 3rd vehicle
4. Both officers were transported with minor injuries
5. Female occupant of at fault vehicle was transported with minor injuries
6.  3 occupants of 3rd vehicle, Mother and 2 young children have minor bumps and bruises
