Houston Police Officers Fatally Shoot Suspect

- Two female patrol officers came to this are which is known as a hot crime area.
- They observed two males standing in front of the store which has no trespassing signs.
- They asked for ID’s from both males which they complied with the officers.
- One of the males was cleared and released.
- The other male, the suspect, had municipal warrants.
- When the officers were trying to check him for weapons.
- One of the officers felt a gun.
- The officers told him to put his hands behind his back and he did not comply.
- At that time the suspect began fighting with the two officers.
- The officers and the suspect began to fight for the gun.
- One of the female officers pulled her weapon and discharged it one time hitting the suspect.
- The suspect was taken by ambulance and pronounced deceased at the hospital.
- The two female officers were not injured except for some bruises from the fight.
- One of the female officers has 8 years on and the other has 11 years on.
- The suspect is 42 years old.
