Houston Police Officer Involved in Early Morning Collision

DETAILS:

1. Per radio traffic.
2. HPD officer was hit by another vehicle.
3. The civilian vehicle crashed out into trees.
4. One person ran from the car.
5. Another person had to be extricated out of the vehicle by HFD.
6. At least one person was transported by ambulance.
7. Unknown if officer was transported.
8. Note: Officer said he was okay over the air.
9. Investigation underway.
