Houston Police Car Catches Fire After High Speed Crash

- Officers attempted to stop a vehicle who’s tags did not match the vehicle
- The suspect stopped and then took off from the traffic stop
- Officers pursued the suspect and crashed into an uninvolved motorist
- The patrol vehicle caught fire with officers inside
- A witness states he saw officers jump out of burning patrol vehicle and rush to render aid to trapped motorist
- The uninvolved motorists were trapped in their car
- A female was transported to an area hospital via Life Flight and is in critical condition
- Officers were reportedly uninjured
