Houston: Person Found Dead In Burned Apartment

03.29.2019 | 6:50 PM | HOUSTON – A person, possibly a woman, was found dead inside a burned apartment, Friday night.

Authorities responded to the reported structure fire in the 3400 block of Harrisburg Boulevard around 6:50 PM.

Units arriving on scene found a two-story apartment building to the rear of an auto body shop with smoke and fire showing.

Crews initiated an aggressive fire attack and were able to quickly knockdown the flames.

Upon entry into the involving apartment firefighters discovered a deceased individual.

Arson and homicide detectives responded to the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death and cause of the fire.
