Houston: One Dead, Six Injured After Block Party Shooting

11.25.2018 | 6:37 PM | HOUSTON – A shooting at a nightclub left one dead and six others injured, Sunday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting at a block party in the 4500 block of Yale Street shortly before 6:40 PM.

Units arriving on scene found a large block party with several gunshot victims. At least one of the victims was dead and six others were injured.

Firefighter paramedics responded and treated six of the victims before transporting them to area hospitals.

A large perimeter was established and three suspects were detained while police investigated.

Reports from the scene indicate nearly 20 shots were fired at the location.
