Houston: Mustang Crashes Into Busy Bar, Seriously Damages Building
11.12.2018 | 12:00 AM | HOUSTON – A bar was damaged after a Ford Mustang lost control and plowed into the building, early Monday morning.
Police and fire officials responded shortly after midnight to the 2200 block of Washington Avenue reference a vehicle that collided with a structure.
Units arriving on scene discovered a Ford Mustang that had lodged itself into the side of a busy bar. The driver was apparently passed out behind the wheel.
Firefighter paramedics arriving on scene treated the male driver before transporting him to an area hospital.
Several patrons were inside the bar at the time of the collision but were not injured.
The building, built of brick, was substantially damaged. Building officials were requested to determine whether the building could be repaired.
