Houston: Motorcyclist Seriously Injured After High-Speed Crash

11.25.2018 | 11:55 PM | HOUSTON – A motorcyclist was hospitalized in critical condition after a high-speed crash, late Sunday night.

Police and fire officials responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a motorcycle in the 1900 block of Travis Street shortly before midnight.

Units arriving on scene located a crash involving a motorcycle and compact car.

The driver of the vehicle was uninjured however the motorcyclist was critically injured.

Firefighter paramedics arrived on scene and transported the man to an area hospital where he was hospitalized in critical condition.

Initial reports indicate the motorcyclist was traveling at high speeds before he ran a red light and struck the side of the sedan.

The intersection was closed while police investigated.
