Houston: Mayhem Ensues After Jeep Loses Tire On Freeway

03.27.2019 | 10:30 PM | HOUSTON – Approximately 17 vehicles were damaged after a Jeep lost a tire, Wednesday night.

Officers responded to numerous reports of vehicles that had been damaged after striking debris on the northbound I-45 near Memorial Drive around 10:30 PM.

Units arriving on scene found just under 20 vehicles with front-end damage and flat tired.

During their investigation officers determined a Jeep lost it’s driver’s side rear tire creating a traffic hazard that multiple vehicles collided with.

Traffic was slowed while officers took vehicles off the freeway and completed their reports.
