Houston: Masked Men Shoot, Kill Clerk During Armed Robbery

10.07.2019 | 3:00 AM | HOUSTON – Two men were wanted after shooting a store clerk to death during a robbery, early Monday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a robbery at a Valero gas station located in the 2800 block of Reed Road around 3:00 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a store clerk down suffering from a gunshot wound and learned he had been shot during an armed robbery.

Firefighter paramedics pronounced the store clerk deceased on scene.

Initial reports indicate two masked men entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded cash before fatally shooting the clerk.

Witnesses reported the suspects fled the scene in a dark colored Nissan.

An investigation is ongoing.
