Houston: Man Pulls Gun At Popeyes After Store Runs Out Of Chicken Sandwiches
09.02.2019 | 8:59 PM | HOUSTON – Authorities were searching for a man who pulled a gun on a Popeyes clerk after learning the chain had run out of chicken sandwiches, Monday night.
Authorities responded to reports of a disturbance involving a subject armed with a gun at the Popeyes located in the 7100 block of Scott Street shortly before 9:00 PM.
Units arriving on scene learned that a group of individuals entered the store to order chicken sandwiches.
When the restaurant clerk informed the group the group that the location had run out of chicken sandwiches a group member brandishes a handgun and continued to demand a chicken sandwich.
The group eventually fled in a blue SUV.
No injuries were reported.
