Houston: Man Dead After Being Shot, Crashing While Fleeing

05.01.2020 | 11:33 PM | HOUSTON – A man was dead after being shot and then crashing while being driven from the scene, late Friday night.

Officers responded to reports of a crash with an occupant possibly trapped in the 200 block of Greens around 11:33 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a black Ford Mustang on its side with two patients.

A male passenger in the was suffering from gunshot wounds and trapped in the wreckage.

Firefighters freed the man but pronounced him deceased on scene. The female driver of the vehicle, later identified as the deceased’s girlfriend, was uninjured.

Initial reports indicate the man was shot in the 17400 block of Imperial Valley Drive before fleeing the scene in the Mustang driven by his girlfriend.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately clear.
