Houston: Man Barricades Himself After Killing Ex-Wife, Wounding Daughter At Church

01.18.2019 | 2:00 AM | HOUSTON – A man who shot and killed his ex-wife and wounded his daughter at a church was in a stand-off with police, Friday morning.

Authorities responded to the shooting at a church in the 2400 block of West Sam Houston Parkway South around 2:00 AM.

Units arriving on scene discovered a woman shot dead and a young female injured from a gunshot wound.

Officers soon learned that the deceased woman was the ex-wife of the shooter and the younger woman who was injured was the shooter’s daughter.

Police quickly located the man who barricaded himself.

A stand-off was ongoing.
