Houston: House Destroyed By Flames

06.24.2020 | 1:45 AM | HOUSTON – A home was destroyed by flames after a fire broke out, early Wednesday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a house fire burning in the 4600 block of Pickfair around 1:45 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a residence engulfed in flames and began efforts to extinguish the blaze while evacuating nearby homes.

Firefighters extinguished the bulk of the blaze within 10 minutes but the home was destroyed.

One resident returned home while firefighters were battling the fire but another was still unaccounted for.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
