Houston: Firefighters Save Pets From House Fire
11.18.2018 | 7:00 AM | HOUSTON – Firefighters sparred the lives of two cats who were injured during a house fire, Sunday morning.
Firefighters responded around 7:00 to the 21700 block of Roseville Drive in Spring regarding reports of a structure fire.
Units arriving on scene found a small residence with smoke and fire showing and immediately attacked the blaze.
During efforts to extinguish the blaze, firefighters located three cats inside the home and rescued them.
The felines were suffering from apparent smoke inhalation from the fire prompting crews to use provide oxygen.
Two of the cats were able to survive thanks to the firefighters efforts. Unfortunately, one of the cats passed away at the scene.
Fire was knocked down within 10 minutes.
The cause is under investigation.
