Houston: Firefighters Rescue Man Trapped In Flooding

12.08.2018 | 12:00 AM | HOUSTON – A man was rescued after driving his vehicle into a heavy flooded road, early Saturday.

Authorities responded to reports of a man trapped inside his vehicle amid heavy flooding near intersection of West Mount Houston and IH-45 Feeder around midnight.

Crews arriving on scene found the man who was trapped inside his vehicle and surrounded by deep waters.

Due to the depth of water being at least a foot deep, first responders summoned their high water rescue vehicle.

The high water rescue vehicle entered the flooded road and crews on board were able to rescue the driver.

The driver reported he “didn’t see the water.”
