Houston: Fire Destroys Two-Story Apartment Building

05.16.2020 | 10:52 PM | HOUSTON – A two-story apartment building was destroyed by fire, Saturday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a structure fire burning at The Hudson Apartment Homes located in the 3100 block of Hayes Road around 10:52 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a two-story apartment building with fire showing from the second floor.

Firefighters began efforts to extinguish the flames but the fire extended into the attic and quickly consumed the building.

No injuries were reported but at least eight apartments were rendered uninhabitable.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
