Houston: Fire Destroys Homes And Injures Woman

12.16.2018 | 7:13 PM | HOUSTON – A woman was hospitalized after a fire ripped through two houses, Sunday night.

Firefighters responded to reports of a fire in the 2500 block of Lee Street around 7:15 PM.

Crews arriving on scene located a detached home with heavy fire showing.

Flames from the fire quickly spread and eventually engulfed a second home which firefighters worked to quickly extinguish.

During the fire a woman was injured and immediately transported her to an area hospital. Her condition was unknown.

Fire investigators were on scene investigating the cause of the fire.
