- HFD responded to reports of a commercial fire in the area of Monroe and Airport
- Arriving companies located a large commercial complex with heavy fire showing
- fire was upgraded to a 211 after about 10 minutes
- a mayday was called about 1 hour in, as a firefighter was separated from his company, and quickly located.
- Mayday was called off in a matter of seconds
- cause and origin are under investigation
- multiple buildings on the property have burned
- Firefighters are in defensive mode, and will be battling the flames for an extended period of time
