Houston: Family Escapes Injury After Apartment Catches Fire

11.08.2018 | 1:28 AM | HOUSTON – A family escaped injury after their apartment caught fire while they slept, early Thursday morning.

Firefighters responded just before 1:30 AM to a reported fired at an apartment building in the 8000 block of South Breswood in Houston.

Units arriving on scene found a residence well involved with fire and iniated an aggressive fire attack. The blaze was eventually controlled however at least two units in the apartment building were destroyed.

Residents reported being awaken by the flames but being able to escape with their children before the building became engulfed.

Arson investigators are investigating.
