Houston: Explosion Destroys Bar, Sends Debris Flying

06.12.2020 | 4:45 AM | HOUSTON – A possible gas explosion destroyed a bar and sent debris flying, early Friday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of an explosion at Bar 5015 located in the 5000 block of Almeda Road around 4:45 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a large field of debris and several small fires after an apparent explosion at a bar.

The explosion sent debris flying into a nearby street and broke the window of a home.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the small fires and secured the scene while arson investigators responded.

No injuries were reported but the bar suffered substantial damage.
