Houston: Driver Flees From Fiery Crash

08.09.2020 | 9:35 PM | HOUSTON – A driver fled after a fiery crash that left their vehicle engulfed in flames, Sunday night.

Authorities responded to reports of van engulfed in flames along the northbound US-59 Freeway transition to the eastbound Interstate Loop 601 around 9:35 PM.

Units arriving on scene located the vehicle engulfed in heavy fire after it appeared to have struck a wall.

Crews extinguished the flames and determined the vehicle was unoccupied.

Police did not immediately locate the driver.
