Houston: Driver Critically Injured After Crashing Into Pole

12.16.2018 | 12:15 AM | HOUSTON – A man was hospitalized with critical injures after slamming into a pole and becoming trapped, early Sunday morning.

Authorities responded to the reported crash involving a pole in front of the Klein High High School located at 16715 Stuebner Airline Road around 12:15 AM.

Units arriving on scene found a black Scion with major damage.

The driver of the vehicle was trapped in the wreckage requiring firefighters to use the jaws of life and other power tools to extricate him.

Within 20 minutes the man was freed from the car and transported to an area hospital via Lifelight helicopter where was reportedly in critical condition.
