Houston: Construction Worker Rescued After Falling Into Hole

11.30.2018 | 2:00 PM | HOUSTON – A construction worker had to be rescued after falling off a ladder into a hole, Friday afternoon.

Firefighters responded to a reported person trapped at a construction site near the intersection of Kuykendahl Road and Stonefield Drive.

Crews arriving on scene found a 60-year-old male construction worker who was trapped down a 15 foot hole.

The man had reportedly fallen from a ladder before landing in the hole and becoming struck.

Technical rescue crews stabilized the hole before lowing down a rescuer and extricated the injured worker.

Paramedics treated the worker on scene before transporting him to an area hospital in stable condition.
