Houston: Car Flips Over After Crashing Into Bus

12.29.2018 | 4:58 AM | HOUSTON – A woman had to be cut from her car after rear-ending a METRO bus, Saturday morning.

Authorities responded to the crash on Memorial Drive near Taft Street shortly before 5:00 AM.

Units arriving on scene found a sedan that had overturned and was resting on its side after crashing with a bus.

The driver, a woman, was trapped inside the car prompting firefighters to use the jaws of life to extricate her.

She was treated on scene and transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.

The driver of the bus was not injured and it is not believed any passengers were aboard at the time of the crash.
