Houston: Apartment Fire Leaves Man Dead

01.10.2019 | 11:38 PM | HOUSTON – A man was dead after a fire ripped through an apartment building he was in, Thursday night.

Firefighters responded to reports of a fire with a person trapped in the 10500 block of South Post Oak Road around 11:40 PM.

Units arriving on scene located fire coming from an apartment unit and located a male inside.

Firefighters quickly doused the flames while paramedics tended to the injured man.

The man was transported to an area hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

At least four apartment units were damaged during the fire which remains under investigation.
