House Fire Fatally Wounds Mother in Lake View Terracej

09.27.20 | 3:30 AM | LAKE VIEW TERRACE – Firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 10000 block of N Kismet Ave in the City of Lake View Terrace. Firefighters arrived to locate a one story residence with smoke and fire showing. The son of the homeowner frantically reported to firefighters his mother was trapped inside. Firefighters immediately began searching, but had a difficult time locating the victim, due to packrat conditions. Crews eventually found the mother in a back room of the house.
