House And Trailer Destroyed In Wittmann Fire

At approximately 2:30 p.m. on April 25, 2026, firefighters responded to a structure fire in the 21800 block of West Roosevelt Avenue in Wittmann.

Upon arrival, crews found a fully involved fire that had engulfed both a home and an adjacent trailer.

Firefighters worked aggressively to contain the blaze and were able to knock it down within approximately 30 minutes.

No injuries were reported.

Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause of the fire, which remains under investigation. The area remained closed as crews continued overhaul operations.
