Hour Long Pursuit Though Multiple Cities

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 4-13-25 10:14 am
LOCATION: Rainbow
AREA/CITY: North County
DETAILS:

1. At around 10:14 AM, reports of a suspicious individual at a church in Fallbrook came in.
2. Initial radio traffic suggested the suspect may have been armed.
3. Deputies located the vehicle and attempted to stop it, but the driver fled.
4. The driver headed into VISTA, then Oceanside, then Carlsbad, back to Oceanside, and finally Bonsall, ending in Rainbow.
5. Near Rainbow Heights & Rice Canyon after a successful Spike Strip
6. The suspect then barricaded himself in the vehicle, and assistance from the SRT team was requested.
7. SRT arrived, broke the rear window, and deployed pepper balls.
8. The suspect then exited the vehicle and was tazed while resisting arrest.
9. North County Fire evaluated the suspect, and he was cleared and transported to the jail.
