Horse Leads Deputies On Pursuit | Houston

06.28.2022 | 3:20 AM | HOUSTON – HCSO District 1 received calls about a horse loose in the roadway. deputies went out to locate the horse and he fled from deputies. the horse ran at speeds in excess of 20 MPH while southbound on W Montgomery before going into the brush and down to a bayou at W Gulf Bank. The horse reemerged and continue to flee from HCSO, eventually going eastbound on Ferguson. HPD N units assisted in boxing the horse in, and eventually the horse surrendered to the deputy without incident. HCSO Livestock is en route to pick up the young male, who appears to be very well cared for, and extremely social. Only visible injury is a couple small cuts to his hind leg.
