Horrific Head On Crash Demolishes Car | Jamul

03.04.2021 | 5:25 AM | JAMUL – The two cars with both male drivers hit head-on, on the twisting canyon road as the driver of the Honda crossed over into the oncoming traffic lane. The male driver of the Honda had to be extricated from the Honda and he was transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The other driver suffered moderate injuries and was also transported to Sharp Memorial. The impact sent the engine block of the Honda over 150 feet off of the roadway. Traffic was stopped in both directions and will be expected to reopen at approx 7:00 am. The CHP believes that the Honda lost traction on the wet road and speed was a factor in this crash.
