Horrific Crash Kills One, Injures Second

DETAILS:

1. A person was killed, another was injured, and a third person was able to walk away uninjured in a horrific two vehicle crash late Sunday night
2. Compton FD paramedics and LASD deputies responded to the intersection in regards to a two vehicle collision
3. Arriving, they located a pickup truck that collided with an unrecognizable sedan, possibly head on
4. The sedan wrapped around a power pole and was damaged beyond recognition while the pickup truck came to rest on a sidewalk
5. One person inside the sedan was declared deceased on scene. It is unclear if the injured party came from the truck or sedan
6. A third male was seen being questioned by deputies. Though involved, his role in the crash is currently unknown
7. A large crime scene has been established by about 1/4 mile in all directions of the crash scene
