Horrible Crash Leaves Two Dead in Lake Matthews

11.03.2020 | LAKE MATTHEWS – CalFire Riverside, CalFire Corona, and CHP responded to a Big Rig vs a Scion near Lake Matthews. When they arrived on scene, they located a Semi off the roadway and a Scion with 2 occupants, a male and a female. Both occupants of the Scion were pronounced deceased at 10:50 by paramedics. A family member on scene said that the two deceased were recently engaged. Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor, but the accident is under investigation.
