Homicide Suspect Crashes During Pursuit
INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 830pm 8-12-25
LOCATION: S Loop East at Scott St
AREA/CITY: Houston
DETAILS:
- HPD Westside Tac Officers located a suspect vehicle from the homicide on Boone Rd
- Officers waited for the vehicle to be occupied before making their approach
- Suspects fled from officers and a pursuit ensued
- Suspects wrecked out on Scott, coming off the Loop
- 2 suspects were taken into custody from one vehicle, and a 3rd suspect was apprehended as well
- Tac units and Homicide were quickly able to identify suspects and locate the vehicle
- It took less than 5 hours from the time of the shooting to apprehend the suspects (pursuit began 4 hours in)
