Homeowner Shoots and Kills Intruders

DETAILS:

1. LAPD & LAFD responded to a report of a shooting
2. LAPD was advised that 4 suspects entered a residence
3. The homeowner shot at least one of the suspects
4. Several other suspects were last seen walking on foot away from the location armed with a rifle
5. Officers entered the residence and ensured no other suspects were inside
6. The homeowner and his family (husband, wife & child)  were detained and taken to safety
7. The male homeowner suffered an injury to his foot and was evaluated at the scene
8. It appears one of the suspects is deceased inside of the residence
9. No further details have been given at this time
