Homeless Man Trapped Under Truck in Los Angeles Crash

LOCATION: Southbound 405 Freeway at Roscoe

DETAILS:
- LAFD and LAPD responded to a reported traffic accident.
- While enroute firefighters were notified of someone trapped in the vehicle and additional units were dispatched.
- Units arrived and they found a full size pick up down the embankment of the onramp to the 405.
- Firefighters found the driver who was able to get out of the vehicle and was unhurt.
- While firefighters investigated the located a homeless man inside a tent that the truck rolled onto.
- Firefighters freed the man and transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
- The crash is under investigation currently.
- Roads were wet as it had been raining off and on in the area.
