Homeless Man Assaulted and Robbed in San Diego

DETAILS:

 

  1. An elderly homeless male was sleeping in his tent in front of the City Public Library when three people started poking his tent from the outside.
  2. They told him to come out, and when he did, one of the males struck the victim in the head with a golf club.
  3. The victim tried to defend himself with a tennis racket and hit one of the males.
  4. The victim was then hit on the arm with a baseball bat.
  5. The victim went down, and the three people robbed him of his cell phone.
  6. They ran away, and a Good Samaritan went to help the victim.
  7. The suspects were described as 1 black male, 1 Hispanic male, and 1 Hispanic female.
  8. The victim suffered a serious wound to his head and a broken left arm.
  9. The Police are investigating.
