Homeless Man Assaulted and Robbed in San Diego

DETAILS:
- An elderly homeless male was sleeping in his tent in front of the City Public Library when three people started poking his tent from the outside.
- They told him to come out, and when he did, one of the males struck the victim in the head with a golf club.
- The victim tried to defend himself with a tennis racket and hit one of the males.
- The victim was then hit on the arm with a baseball bat.
- The victim went down, and the three people robbed him of his cell phone.
- They ran away, and a Good Samaritan went to help the victim.
- The suspects were described as 1 black male, 1 Hispanic male, and 1 Hispanic female.
- The victim suffered a serious wound to his head and a broken left arm.
- The Police are investigating.
