Homeless Encampment Fire Spreads to Eucalyptus Trees | Oxnard

05.11.2022 | 2:35 AM | OXNARD –  Oxnard City Fire crews responded to reports of trees on fire on Wooley Rd just east of Rose Ave.

When crews arrived on scene, they found a homeless encampment fire engulfed under a row of eucalyptus trees.

Crews had the fire knocked down in approximately 30 minutes.

Some farm equipment may have also been destroyed in the fire.
