Homeless Encampment Fire Gets Out of Control | Ventura

03.09.2021 | 12:00 AM | VENTURA – Ventura City Fire crews responded to a call of a brush fire in the Santa Clara river bottom adjacent to Harbor Blvd.

When crews arrived on scene, they found a large homeless encampment completely engulfed.

The fire had the potential to reach two acres in size, but crews stopped it before it reached once acre.
