Homeless Encampment Fire | Chino

04.12.2021 | 10:31 PM | CHINO – A authorities received reports of a brush fire off El Prado Road in Chino.

Upon arrival, firefighters discovered flames as large as an acre with no nearby structures threatened. Chino Police discovered a woman that was in the brush and detained her.

The brush was likely started from a homeless encampment. No injuries were reported & firefighters were able to knock down the flames in less than 30 minutes.

Chino Police is investigating.
