04.13.2022 | 5:17 PM | MENTONE – Authorities responded to reports of a structure fire. First responders arrived on scene and located a single story, single family dwelling well involved, with heavy smoke and fire showing. Soon after firefighters arrived on scene, a large explosion shook the neighborhood. A battallion chief stated the explosion was from an oxygen container on the back porch. Firefighters could be seen battling the fierce flames. After the fire was extinguished, firefighters could be seen giving people blankets.
