Home Burned Days After Man Shot and Killed in Victorville
On April 2nd, 2026, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department deputies were investigating an arson in Victorville that occurred just days after a deadly shooting involving the same victim.
Authorities reported that a 22 year-old man was shot on March 29th, 2026, around 3:30pm. The victim later succumbed to his injuries on March 31st.
Two days after his death, the victim’s home near Eugene Road and Starshine Drive was set on fire.
Investigators were treating the incident as arson as they worked to determine whether the fire was connected to the earlier shooting.
The investigation remained ongoing.
