Hollywood: Early Morning Fire Scorches Home

06.25.2019 | 3:46 AM | HOLLYWOOD – An early morning fire destroyed a home, early Tuesday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a residential structure fire in the 5800 block of La Mirada Avenue in Hollywood around 3:46 AM.

Crews arriving on scene located a single-story residence with heavy fire showing from a converted attic space.

Firefighters worked for nearly an hour to gain control of the stubborn fire.

No injuries were reported but the home appeared to be a complete loss.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
