Hit-And-Run Leaves Victim Critical In Crenshaw

At approximately 11:30 p.m. on April 20, 2026, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle near Crenshaw Boulevard and Obama Boulevard in the Crenshaw area of Los Angeles.

The driver fled the scene on foot, leaving the vehicle behind.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported the victim in very critical condition, while Los Angeles Police Department officers followed behind to assist and begin their investigation.

Authorities shut down northbound and southbound lanes of Crenshaw Boulevard as they established a crime scene.

The investigation remains ongoing.
