- Witnesses said that the car appeared to be speeding.
- The suspect’s vehicle eventually stopped after crashing into the center median just East of Woodruff.
- Downey PD would not confirm if the fatal accident were a hit-and-run.
- Police were still trying to find part of the body at the scene.
