Highspeed Vehicle Goes Airborne and Bursts into Flames

- On December 29th, 2024, just before 1 AM, San Bernardino PD, County Fire, CHP, and AMR responded to a traffic collision near 30th Street and Broadmoor Boulevard in San Bernardino.
- San Bernardino PD arrived at the scene of a traffic collision with fire.
- According to the CHP log, San Bernardino PD reported that there were three occupants trapped in the vehicle that was on fire.
- Only one person was transported with unknown injuries; two other ambulances were requested but canceled.
- It’s unconfirmed if additional victims were located in the vehicle or if there were any fatalities.
- Preliminary observations are the vehicle was traveling Southbound Broadmoor at high speed, colliding with a guardrail, sending the vehicle airborne over the chainlink fence into the bushes, and it caught fire.
