Highschooler Shot and Killed Near Pond

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 3-6-25 / 9:00 pm
LOCATION: Dispatched address – 6637 High Stone Ln / Scene location – Corner of Sandy Bay Ln & Stockfield Ln in the retention pond. Near 20603 Sandy Bay Ln.
AREA/CITY: West Harris County
DETAILS:

1. HCSO deputies responded to reports of a shooting.
2. Arriving units located a male juvenile (high school age) shot near the retention pond/bayou.
3. The male was pronounced deceased by EMS at the scene.
4. It was reported two large groups of males met up at this location for unknown reasons.
5. One male pulled a gun and fired, hitting another male from the other group.
6. All the males fled the scene.
7. When deputies arrived, some family members of the deceased were at the scene.
8. The deceased male lives in the neighborhood.
9. Investigation is on going.
