Highschool Student Stabbed Near Savannah High School

LOCATION: Lincoln Ave and Gilbert St.

PER PIO SGT MATT SUTTER, This afternoon at approximately 2:40pm officers responded to a felony assault that occurred in the area of Lincoln Ave and Gilbert St. When officers arrived they located one victim with multiple stab wounds. He was alert and talking when he was transported to a hospital. This incident appears to be a fight between two students from nearby Savannah HS ( 301 N. Gilbert St) which is currently locked down. The suspect is currently outstanding. The suspect is not believed to be on campus.
